“When is the best time to schedule a spray tan and other beauty services for my wedding or big event?”
Brides…so many beauty services, so little time…in an attempt to make your bridal glam scheduling seamless, I’ve created a BEAUTY SERVICES TIMELINE!
When in doubt, remember your spray tan is the last stop. Every other beauty service needs to happen BEFORE your spray tan so that the other treatments don’t remove, fade, splotch out your tan after I apply it.
I want you to love your spray tan and feel confident for your big day. As a bride, you have enough stress already. Beauty Services should be fun and relaxing. Plus, You will be taking tons of photos, this creates minimal room for error. SO PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING, FOLLOW THIS GUIDELINE & ENJOY YOUR BRIDAL MOMENT.
Beauty Services Timeline before your Wedding day or Big Event:
Hair Coloring/Cut: 7-14 days before your tan; this gives your hair time to settle into the final result and allows time for you and your stylist to make any corrections if needed.
Facials: 1-2 weeks prior. If your pores are open and your skin is locking in hydration, it needs time to settle for a flawless application.
Brow Coloring/Shaping: 5-10 days before your tan.
Massage: A minimum of 48 hours before your tan to ensure all of the oils your tech uses are off the skin.
Lashes: Schedule lashes the day before spray tan. Your lash tech will thank you for not having to work around a marinating tan.
Waxing: Should be scheduled 2 - 7 days prior, giving your skin time to settle and prevent a patchy spray tan.
Nails: Manicures and pedicures happen 1-2 days prior.
SPRAY TAN: The week before your spray tan, Start exfoliating and heavily moisturizing your skin, and complete all other beauty services. Scheduling your tan 2-3 days before your wedding/event is best!
Happy scheduling and Marinating! See ya’ll in the Wrightsville Glow Studio ;).
